Tuesday,26 Jul 2016

The Lings Team meet the Husqvarna riders, including Paul 'Fast Eddy' Edmondson

Lings were delighted to take up the invitation to test the new 2017 Husqvarna Enduro range, taking to the track alongside four-time World Enduro Champion Paul ‘Fast Eddy’ Edmondson and Husqvarna Enduro Team Rider Danny McCanney.

After a presentation held at Greenhous Meadow, home of Shrewsbury Town F.C. introducing the team to the new model range, including the TX300, FX350 and FX450, the team were taken to Husqvarna’s enduro track and allowed to put the machines through their paces.

The Husqvarna Enduro track

“Husqvarna’s off-road range is outstanding at these new models are no exception” said Mark Powell, Lings Husqvarna manager “seeing them put through their paces in the hands of pros like Danny and Fast Eddy was a real eye-opener, but even in the hands of enthusiasts like us they still performed brilliantly. It was fantastic event and we’d like to thank Husqvarna for arranging it.”

“ it’s one thing to talk and read about a new model but quite another to take it out and try them in their natural environment. As expected the Husky’s performed brilliantly and we’ve no doubt our customers will agree when they get their hands on one.”

The bikes

The full range of 7 2017 Husqvarna Enduro bikes includes the 2-stroke TX125, TE250 and 300, plus the 4-stroke FE250, 350, 450 and 501 models and all feature class-leading components and technical innovation such as composite carbon fibre sub-frames, lowering the bikes weight and making for greater performance and control than ever before.
