What is Hondacare Assistance?
This is our breakdown service that we provide to ensure you have help when you need it most.
Who is covered?
Hondacare Assistance covers anyone riding your Honda motorcycle with your permission. All new motorcycles supplied by Honda (UK) are covered by Hondacare Assistance for the duration of your warranty period, and this starts from the date of original registration.
Coverage areas
UK
All on-road Honda motorcycles are covered in the UK for two years.
The Honda VFR1200F & VFR1200FD are covered in the UK for three years.
Europe
The Honda VFR1200F and VFR1200FD are covered (for three years) on European roads. If you’re planning to travel in Europe on any other Honda bike, you can choose from two other cover options:
- Take out AA Five Star Cover (Please note this is for 200cc and above). To do this, call the AA on 0800 444 500
- Purchase an Extended guarantee – this includes European Roadside Assistance.

The Honda Breakdown Assistance app gives you quick and easy access to the Honda Breakdown Service. If you find yourself stuck by the roadside, the app will help us to reach you quickly.
What do you get with the app?
- Hondacare Assistance – the app finds your exact location on a street level map. Information about your location is sent to Honda when you call, helping us to locate you quickly.
- AA Roadwatch – avoid delays to your journey with live updates on traffic and roadworks. Updates are shown on a detailed street level map.
- My Reminders – store important dates for your vehicle, like service and MOT dates.

Motorcycle & Scooter Delivery
If required we can deliver your new motorcycle or scooter straight to your door!
We have a fleet of our own vans that have been specially modified to carry motorcycles around securely and safely, and a team of fully trained staff ready to deliver your new motorcycle straight to your door.
When purchasing your new motorcycle from Lings you can arrange with our motorcycle sales executives to organise the delivery to either your home or work address* once your motorcycle is ready. We deliver between Monday and Friday and our delivery drivers are fully trained to carry out a full hand over of your new motorcycle, complete all relevant paperwork and collect your part exchange if necessary.
All other items will be charged as per price guide below:
